The app’s chat and calling components have undergone a redesign, file transfer has been updated, large emoticons are now supported, Favorites conversations now “roam” and sync on supported platforms, and now there’s support for limited instant message formatting. ![]() ![]() Users who haven’t yet installed Skype 7 at all are in for a nice surprise. ![]() But let’s see what Skype 7 has in store for everyone, including for people who haven’t yet made the upgrade. In addition to support for OS X 10.10, Skype 7.1 further enhances group profile, making it easier to copy a link or to leave a group conversation. Three weeks after releasing the redesigned 7.0 version, Microsoft is now offering an updated build of the Mac Skype client with full support for Apple’s new desktop OS, Yosemite.
